Mark & Sarah's Fairmont Banff Springs Wedding
This wedding had a lot of hurdles thrown at it. Our couple lived in Houston and was living there during the 2017 flooding. They weren’t even sure they would make it up to Banff for their wedding day.
Our bride told us stories of her dress floating away from her home in a rubbermaid before getting up to Canada. They were so “famous” for finally making it up for their wedding that Global National even filmed their ceremony and interviewed them after. I was also shortly famous as I had a 0.25 sec cameo in the news that night. Ohhh heyyy Mom!! Look I’m on TV!!!
They managed to get up to Canada and decided to blow off some steam with a mountain trail bike ride when they got here. Sarah, the bride crashed and had literal road rash all down her upper body. This girl is tough as nails. She will forever be the epitome of my TROOPER BRIDE!!
It is no wonder that when this wedding finally happened it was a seriously EPIC one. The dance floor was to date the craziest I have ever shot with Pez Productions DJ’ing and turning the Cascade ballroom into a literal rave. Sandstorm never sounded so epic! What a party!!

What do you love most about her?
Sarah's pretty special. I fell in love with her brain.
She's the smartest person I know. Obviously matching on Tinder meant that I thought she was hot. But the more you get to know her, the more you'll find out that she's flawless. I had a mental list that created the "perfect girl", and Sarah checked off every box.
Every day I look at her, and tell her that "she has no idea".

What do you love most about him?
Mark is this handsome, smart, ambitious, successful, driven, fun, athletic, kind man. I love the way that he can shift from "shop talk" when we're discussing business, to this little baby voice when he just wants a cuddle.
He's a kid trapped in a man's body - a loving, goofy, amazing person. He cares for the people in his life with all of his heart and soul, and I not only love him, I respect him more than anyone. That's what I love most about him - his childlike and carefree love for the world, and the way that he loves me with every ounce of his being.
