The Candy Store Wedding | Kyle & Dayna's Day in Jasper
You know when you see two people together and think “WOW those two are so in love”
That’s what kept going through my head photographing Dayna and Kyle’s wedding day. These two could not stop laughing and smiling at each other all day. It is very obvious they are meant for each other.
Dayna grew up in Jasper and Kyle not far away in Hinton, also my own home town. I have known Kyle’s sister for as long as I can remember and that’s how I met these two.
I asked Dayna and Kyle where they wanted to go for their wedding photos and asked if there was any places in downtown Jasper that were significant or held special meaning to them. Dayna lit up and started talking about the Candy Store she went to as a kid growing up in Jasper. She had so many memories of this place that we decided that was where we would go for photos.
She said she used to get gift certificates every year for her birthday to spend here. Every year was what she got in a dollar amount. 12 year old birthday = 12 dollars and so on. I thought…. ok, we NEED to go here for the wedding.
Hot donuts and candy bags. That sounds like the best wedding pitstop ever.
Thanks for having me you two. Enjoy the blog and your photos today!
