Kate & Sami's The Loft at Earls Yaletown Vancouver Wedding
Can you believe these two started dating on and off since grade 8! I knew a long time ago that when these two would FINALLY get married it would be an amazing day. Kate and Sami have been long time friends of mine over the years. We grew up together in Hinton and have kept in touch over the years. They have called Vancouver home for a while now and I even flew out to hide in some bushes to secretly photograph Sami proposing to Kate last year. It was incredible to be part of that day. Kate’s Dad was my childhood dentist and family friend. Him and my mother still keep in touch to this day. As someone said during the speeches, we were all certain this was one of the largest Hinton gatherings Vancouver had probably ever seen. It was such an amazing day and thank you so much pals for having me photograph it.

“Definitely a favourite part of our wedding day was our first look and our time alone taking pictures around Vancouver with you! For a city known as " Raincouver" we sure lucked out, the weather was perfection! We really didn't have a set plan for photos and leaving it open to spontaneity made it into a really enjoyable experience. After taking pictures in Stanly Park and realizing we had time to spare we hopped on the Aqua bus for an unplanned boat ride. This was a favourite moment for us. For both us the moment we got to see all of family and friends in one space really was the highlight of the day.”
