Josie & Lu's Fairmont Palliser Calgary Wedding
I met Josie and Lu over bowls of Pho for a quick lunch consult. Got me thinkin’ why don’t I meet over more bowls of pho? This is AMAZING!
These two had the most amazing wedding day. They had interviewed quite a few photographers and had been sent my way by a friend of mine (Monica, thank you!). They wanted someone who worked with a lot of off camera flash and indoor low light settings. The Fairmont Palliser ballrooms are quite low lit and have pretty much zero natural light coming into them so they are a TREAT for us to work in with our lights!
One thing that was super important to Josie and Lu were their family photos, we had an hour to do them and there was a pretty long list. We shot these all with off camera flash lighting mixed with the ambient lighting in the Oval Room while posing everyone in a more formal way. These family photos turned out amazing and I am so stoked on how they look! Can’t wait for you guys to see below!
Congrats again Josie & Lu! Was nice getting to know you two thru this process, have the best trip over to China soon!
