common questions.
How long is the shoot? 90 Minutes (including driving from locations)
Where do we meet? Kananaskis: We meet at the Tim Horton’s Gas Station on the way into K Country. Jasper we will be meeting at our Jasper Lake meeting spot (which will be emailed to you prior to your session). Victoria meeting spot is custom based on whoever books that location.
What do I bring? Anything! Drinks, a warm blanket to cozy under, sparklers or even a snack. We have seen so many ideas and none are off limits.
Grooming / Makeup: We highly recommend a fresh cut, shave or visit to your makeup artist before the shoot. We have amazing artists we can recommend.
What do I wear? Dress up and show off your personal style. Please send an email to sofiakatherinephotography@gmail.com if you would like some help in planning your wardrobe.
What should I expect? To have fun! It’s like going on a night sky tour with photos too!
Can I reschedule my shoot? We have a $150 shoot rescheduling fee. We highly discourage reschedules.
What if the weather is “bad”? First off, we think there is no such thing as “bad weather”. All weather affects the night sky differently. We are a weather fearless crew and empower you to be as well. Some of our most incredible images were from evenings where the wind was over 100km, or it was raining or snowing. Be open to whatever weather the world decides to give us that evening.
This is an example of a VERY windy evening. The couple is standing in 110km winds for this image.
Excited to shoot with you. If you have further questions please reach out to us via email sofiakatherinephotography@gmail.com
